About the Dentist

Dr. Criton was born and raised in Regina. He was accepted into the College of Dentistry in Saskatoon after only one year of pre-dental Arts and Sciences classes. He is a 1979 graduate of the University of Saskatchewan. Dr. Criton has practiced in Regina since then,and through a dedicated program of continuing education (on-going training), provides comprehensive, modern dental solutions to patients of all ages, with emphasis on quality of care.

He has additional advanced training in many areas of dentistry with emphasis on cosmetic and implant dentistry. Dr.Criton is a Fellow of both the Academy of General Dentisry as well as the Academy of Dentistry International. He has been an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry since 1994, as well as the prestigious L.D. Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental education, having attended their continuums since 1990.

In 1999, when Dr.Criton received the prestigious Fellowship Award of the Acadamy of General Dentistry, he was the first Dentist in Saskatchewan to have acheived this. The Acadamy is one of the largest dental organizations in North America, and unlike other dental organizations, ongoing education is a requirement of membership. Dr.Criton is currently pursuing the highest level of acheivement within the Acadamy, the Mastership award. Extensive post -graduate training has helped him learn the newest methods and perfect his skills and techniques in cosmetic and restorative dentistry.

On a personal note, Dr. Criton enjoys golfing, curling and ballroom dancing. He and his wife are chief instructors for the Regina Ballroom Dancing Club. He is also a certified curling coach, and enjoys working with young competitive curlers.
